Petrolimex Khanh Hoa reaches the finish line in 2024, sets out key tasks for 2025

On January 19, 2025, in Nha Trang city, Phu Khanh Petroleum Company ( Petrolimex Khanh Hoa/Company) held the 2024 Work Summary and the 2025 Labor Delegation Conference.

The conference was honored to welcome Party Secretary - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group) Pham Van Thanh, Deputy General Director of the Group Nguyen Sy Cuong, Chairman of the Vietnam National Petroleum Trade Union Nguyen Thanh Son, Head of the Group's Supervisory Board Dang Quang Tuan and representatives of the Group's Advisory Boards.

On the Company side, there were Party Secretary - Chairman and Director Duong Dinh Long, along with members of the Party Executive Committee, Board of Directors of the Company/Branch, Executive Committee of the Trade Union, Head of the People's Inspectorate, Secretary of the Youth Union, Heads of functional departments of the Company/Branch and 112 delegates representing more than 680 employees in the entire Company.

2024 is a year with many factors that negatively affect petroleum business activities: geopolitical conflicts; increased market competition; trademark infringement, goods of unknown origin, poor quality goods... However, through flexible business policies, implemented according to the direction of the Group and the Company with effective solutions along with the efforts and endeavors of all employees, Petrolimex Khanh Hoa has successfully completed and exceeded the assigned production and business targets and plans.

The results of Petrolimex Khanh Hoa in 2024 in terms of output, profit, and salary income of employees all increased compared to 2023. Specifically: Gasoline output reached 453,554 m3, completing 112.5% of the plan assigned by the Group and equal to 106% compared to the same period in 2023. Output/revenue of other goods and services exceeded the plan: Lubricants reached 990 tons; Gas reached 108% of the plan assigned by the Group, equal to 110% compared to the implementation in 2023; Insurance grew by 6% over the same period. Pre-tax profit was over 141 billion VND, equal to 129% of the plan. Average retail labor productivity in 2024 reached 54 m3/person/month, equal to 105% compared to the same period in 2023. Workers' income was improved.

In recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success and development of the Company, many collectives and individuals have received awards from the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises. In 2024, the Phu Khanh Petroleum Company Trade Union under the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union was honored to receive the Emulation Flag "for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2024" from the Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union.

Mr. Pham Van Thanh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group congratulated, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that Petrolimex Khanh Hoa achieved in 2024 and made important contributions to the Group. Mr. Pham Van Thanh believes that Petrolimex Khanh Hoa will strive with the spirit of solidarity, determination to overcome all difficulties, seize opportunities, streamline the apparatus, successfully complete assigned tasks, and make achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Group's establishment.

Receiving the direction of the Chairman of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Mr. Duong Dinh Long - Party Secretary, Chairman and Director of the Company affirmed that Petrolimex Khanh Hoa will develop more strongly, implement specific plans, operate effectively; always maintain and promote the spirit of solidarity for the common development of Petrolimex.

Based on the assessment and forecast of the situation in 2025, the Company sets a number of key tasks and strives to successfully complete the assigned tasks:

(1) Absolutely ensure absolute safety in all aspects.

(2) Closely follow market developments, flexibly organize and synchronously implement solutions to ensure gasoline supply.

(3) Focus on promoting all aspects of business activities, continue to identify petroleum business as the core business axis, continue to develop a sustainable retail system combined with investment in upgrading and modernizing the gas station system.

(4) Continue to promote innovation, improve business efficiency through technology platforms and digital transformation; implement green and clean projects according to the Group's orientation.

(5) Focus on human resource development, improve the capacity and professional qualifications of staff, workers and employees, and have solutions to encourage and motivate staff to be creative and promote their capacity to complete assigned tasks. Build a "Refined - Lean - Strong - Efficient - Effective - Effective" staff team in the spirit of Resolution No. 18.

(6) Strengthening the practice of thrift and combating waste.

(7) Concentrate resources to speed up the progress of key projects: Construction of Cam Ranh petroleum port warehouse, construction of Company office, Ninh Thuan Petroleum Branch office, Nha Trang-Cam Lam expressway rest stop, Petrolimex truck service station - Store 34 Khanh Hoa, Petrolimex - Store 229 Ninh Thuan
