Strive to reduce the poverty rate to 1.42% by the end of 2025

The program aims to reduce multidimensional poverty in an inclusive and sustainable manner, limit poverty relapse and poverty generation; support the poor and poor households to overcome the minimum living standard, access basic social services according to the national multidimensional poverty standard, and improve the quality of life.

According to this plan, the province sets a specific target of reducing the poverty rate according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2022-2025 by 1.02% (according to Resolution 54/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council on socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in 2025); the poverty rate by the end of 2025 will be 1.42%, equivalent to a decrease of 2,711 poor households; the poverty rate of ethnic minority households will decrease by over 3%.

To achieve the above goal, the province continues to implement policies to support electricity bills, preferential credit loans,education , health insurance... for the poor, near-poor households and newly escaped poverty households in a timely manner, ensuring the right subjects according to regulations. Complete the program to support the repair and construction of new houses for poor households, near-poor households with temporary houses, dilapidated houses in the province before September 2, 2025.

Along with that, implementing poverty reduction projects such as: Diversifying livelihoods, developing poverty reduction models; supporting production development in the agricultural sector; improving nutrition; developing vocational education; supporting sustainable employment; reducing poverty in information...

To organize the implementation, the Provincial People's Committee assigned departments and branches based on their assigned functions and tasks to implement the contents of the plan. At the same time, develop a plan, propose a roadmap, and specific solutions to organize the implementation to ensure effectiveness and achieve the set plan's goals.
