- On the morning of May 23, Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to discuss the plan to arrange departments and offices of the Provincial General Hospital construction project. Attending the meeting were representatives of the investor; contractors of the project; leaders of a number of departments and branches; leaders of the Provincial General Hospital and leaders of departments and offices of the Provincial General Hospital.

Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

The project to build the Provincial General Hospital has a total area of 16 hectares; the total investment is nearly 1,800 billion VND (of which, phase 1 from 2021-2025 is 1,270 billion VND; phase 2 from 2026 is over 526 billion VND) from the central budget and local budget.

The new hospital has a scale of 1,000 beds, including all items according to the standards of a grade I provincial general hospital, such as: Examination, outpatient treatment, emergency; Technical house; inpatient house; Nuclear Physics department; Nutrition department; Infection Control department; Infectious disease department; Psychiatry department; Funeral home... and complete and synchronous auxiliary works and technical infrastructure.

The project started construction in December 2023. After more than 1 year of construction, the progress of the basic packages basically met the project schedule and approved project implementation plan.

At the meeting, contractors, construction units and delegates discussed and proposed plans to arrange departments to suit the functions of each department and each part of the Provincial General Hospital project.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong highly appreciated the efforts of the investor and related units in coordinating the implementation of project items.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial General Hospital to continue to coordinate with investors and contractors to arrange and adjust rooms to suit their functions and scientific working processes; arrange hospital beds and equipment systems to suit the needs of departments and rooms.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health and the Provincial General Hospital to continue researching and reporting back on departments that need to be edited and adjusted in the spirit of effective use and scientific arrangement.
