Pharmacity stops trading and recalls counterfeit products produced by Herbitech

Pharmacity announced that it has temporarily suspended sales and recalled the products PMC Hoat Huyet, PMC Ginkgo Biloba, PMC Joint Care, PMC Liver Support manufactured by Herbitech Company. These are products registered, announced and distributed by Hoang Giang Saigon Pharmaceutical Company Limited.

In addition, Pharmacity is also responsible for recalling and refunding 100% to all customers who have purchased products related to Herbitech company.

Before and during the distribution of these products, Pharmacity Pharmacy periodically inspected the product quality at the VNTest Quality Control and Testing Institute (under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, licensed by the Ministry of Science and Technology) and also collected reports provided by Hoang Giang Saigon Pharmaceutical Company Limited. The independent inspection reports and inspection reports provided by Hoang Giang Saigon to Pharmacity showed that the quality of all four products met the standards according to the declaration documents licensed by the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ).

Previously, on April 28, the Investigation Police Agency, Ministry of Public Security issued a decision to prosecute, temporarily detain, and search the residence of the leader of Herbitech Company for the crime of "Violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences", and at the same time seized 115 samples of health protection products produced by Herbitech Company with signs of counterfeit goods. The Institute of Criminal Science of the Ministry of Public Security has determined that two health protection products, Baby Shark and Medi Kid Calcium K2, are counterfeit.
