Launching an art contest to promote the cultural values and people of Quang Ninh

On the morning of October 4, in Ha Long City, the Department of Culture and Sports launched a contest to create art designs for information clusters and visual propaganda about the cultural values and people of Quang Ninh.

Contestants are professional and non-professional artists, authors and groups of authors inside and outside the province. Contest entries must demonstrate the unique culture, history, traditions, landscapes, people, potential strengths, and unique values of Quang Ninh province; ensure high aesthetics, and be easy to construct into an outdoor visual propaganda cluster.

The contest aims to select highly iconic art designs, on that basis, build information and propaganda clusters at key locations of the province and localities to propagate, introduce and promote to the people and domestic and foreign tourists about the value system of Quang Ninh province "Beautiful nature, unique culture, civilized society, transparent administration, developed economy , happy people"; the value system of Quang Ninh people "Courage, self-reliance, discipline, solidarity, loyalty, generosity, creativity, civilization". The contest aims to contribute to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development".

Some visual information and propaganda designs about the cultural values and people of Quang Ninh have been used recently.

The Organizing Committee will accept entries until October 30, 2024. The judging is expected to end on November 5, with awards presented in December 2024. The Organizing Committee will award 5 A prizes and 5 consolation prizes for outstanding entries.
