Nearly 70 years old, Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Van, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Tran Hung Dao 5 Ward (Hong Gai Ward) is still full of energy and enthusiasm like the first days of working in the neighborhood. For Ms. Van, participating in neighborhood work is not only a duty, but also a joy, a way to contribute to the community.

The people of Tran Hung Dao 5 neighborhood are very familiar with the image of the female Party Secretary, Head of the neighborhood with a small, agile figure, clear voice, always present whenever the neighborhood has a public event. Ms. Van used to work with everyone to mobilize land donations to open roads, renovate alleys, build cultural houses, install security cameras, plant flowers, paint murals to make the neighborhood brighter - greener - cleaner - more beautiful. Wherever needed, Ms. Van would come, and whatever difficult task, she would be the first to volunteer. Ms. Van's sincerity, dedication and exemplary role have become a source of inspiration for people to unite and join hands to build a civilized and united neighborhood.

Thanks to the advocacy and propaganda of Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Van and the neighborhood officials, 99% of households agreed to donate land to expand the road connecting groups 3, 4, 5, and 6.

One of Ms. Van's most outstanding achievements is the propaganda and mobilization work to expand the road connecting groups 3, 4, 5, 6. The previous road was less than 3m wide and had degraded, so mobilizing people to donate land for expansion was considered extremely difficult. However, with perseverance and ingenuity, Ms. Van and the Party Committee and organizations went to each household to propagate and explain in a reasonable manner. Thanks to that, 115 households voluntarily donated land, removed fences and gates, helping to widen the road to 3.5-4m. Up to now, 99% of households have agreed, Ms. Van and the neighborhood officials are continuing to mobilize to achieve absolute consensus.

Not only stopping at widening the road, Ms. Van also initiated a movement of painting murals, planting flowers to create green spaces, turning old walls into vivid paintings, conveying messages about environmental protection and neighborly love. The appearance of Tran Hung Dao 5 area is now greener, cleaner, brighter, more civilized, which is the clearest proof of the consensus of the people and the "leading" role of the female Secretary of the Party Cell of the area.

Ms. Van shared: In response to the task requirements in the 4.0 technology era, I have proactively built a zalo group system connecting the Party cell secretary, the head of the residential group, the head of the association and the households, helping to quickly and accurately convey the policies and announcements of the ward and neighborhood. If the government is digitalized, the people's movement must also be digitalized. Thanks to this connection channel, people have timely information, understand correctly, have high consensus, and everything is implemented much more smoothly.

Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Van contributes to regularly maintaining the "Green Sunday" movement to keep the environment clean, creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape in the neighborhood.

Thanks to her creativity and dedication, Tran Hung Dao 5 neighborhood has been recognized for many years as a "Cultural residential area", "Bright - green - clean - beautiful street", security and order are ensured, and people's lives are increasingly improving. In addition, the characteristic of the neighborhood Party Cell is that most of the party members are elderly, many of whom have limited health, but under the leadership and direction of Ms. Van, the activities are still maintained regularly, with a high participation rate. Ms. Van also focuses on discovering and nurturing young party members, positive factors to inherit the movement of the residential area.

Like a "bright light" in the middle of the residential area, the nearly 70-year-old female Party Cell Secretary and Head of Tran Hung Dao 5 Ward still quietly and persistently contributes, spreading the spirit of responsibility, love and belief in the strength of solidarity of the people. Originally from Hung Yen , Lieutenant Colonel Quach Hong Phuong is currently an Office Assistant and President of the Women's Union of Joint Stock Company 397. In Ms. Phuong, people clearly feel the image of a brave and responsible military woman, both gentle in behavior and decisive in work. In a stressful and toxic coal production environment, Ms. Phuong not only excellently completed her professional tasks, but also set a shining example of the spirit of learning, creativity, and dedication to the Union movement.

As an Office Assistant, Ms. Phuong always seeks to innovate management methods, proposes many practical initiatives, helps save costs, and improves administrative efficiency. However, what makes colleagues and company leaders appreciate Ms. Phuong's pioneering spirit and responsibility in the work of the Association. Over the past 5 years (2020-2025), under her leadership, the Women's Union of Joint Stock Company 397 has continuously achieved the title of "Excellent Strength", and has been awarded many emulation flags and certificates of merit from the General Department of Politics and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Ms. Phuong always believes that military women are not only good at their profession, but also know how to spread human values ​​and share with the community. From that thought, she and the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of the company organized many creative and practical models such as "Effective Working Day", "Green Office", "Anti-Plastic Waste", or the movement "Raising Piggy Bank - Sharing Love". Hundreds of millions of VND donated from this movement have been converted into meaningful gifts for members in difficult circumstances, orphans, people with serious illnesses, or programs aimed at the border such as "Accompanying women in the border areas".

Ms. Phuong confided: The coal production environment is characterized by heavy, toxic work, and shift work. Not only me, but also the women in the unit need to make great efforts to balance professional work, family, and contribute to the community. I always remind myself to be exemplary and pioneering, only then can I convince women to change their perceptions, work for the Association, and the emulation movement. For me, the Women's Union is not only an organization for movement activities, but also a close space where members can share, be listened to, and be motivated to complete their tasks well.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of work at the frontline hospital of Quang Ninh , where hundreds of patients are admitted, operated, cared for and recovered every day, there is a woman who is still quietly and diligently working on management and operations, and more importantly, lighting the fire of love for the profession in each colleague. That is Ms. Tran Thi Viet Hoa, Head Nurse of the Department of Trauma - Orthopedics, Provincial General Hospital.

Having been involved in the nursing profession for more than two decades, Ms. Hoa is one of the typical faces of the Quang Ninh medical sector, a dedicated, responsible and courageous female officer in a particularly stressful working environment. As head nurse, Ms. Hoa directly manages human resources, operates care activities, monitors hundreds of patients each month, and at the same time supervises professional quality and trains the younger generation of nurses. The job requires not only good expertise, but also a kind heart, meticulousness and the ability to withstand pressure.

Ms. Hoa and the medical staff in the department have successfully performed many emergency cases of serious illness. New techniques have been deployed and maintained in good operation in the department, such as: Treatment and care of patients undergoing partial hip replacement surgery, cementless long-stem partial hip replacement surgery for the elderly, total hip replacement, knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy and treatment of rotator cuff tears with artificial knee replacement, microsurgery to reconnect blood vessels and nerves in reattaching severed fingers... Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness of examination and treatment, patient care, creating trust for patients.

Not only is she "skilled and good at management", Ms. Hoa is also a pioneer in scientific research, improving her professional qualifications. In 2024, she was the head of the scientific project "Reviewing the results of patient care after upper limb bone fusion surgery at Quang Ninh General Hospital" - a project that was highly appreciated and effectively applied in practice. Her initiative helps shorten hospital stays, improve recovery quality, reduce treatment costs and especially bring satisfaction to patients. Each recovered patient is the happiness and the greatest reward for a medical professional like her.
