Launching the contest 'Good short stories of Duong Van 2023'

The 2023 - 2024 Duong Van Short Story Contest has just been launched. The contest is open to Vietnamese citizens both at home and abroad. Contestants are responsible for the copyright of their works.

Short stories must be a maximum of 7,000 words and have never been published in other media, social networks, or publications...

The finalists will be published in the 2024 Duong Van Short Story Collection.

The manuscript must be typed on a 14-point paper (or a word file) with the author's address, phone number, and email. The deadline for submission is 0:00 on August 31, 2024 (according to the postmark ). The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place in September 2024.

The works that meet the required quality will be used in Duong Van publications and Duong Van online. In addition, the finalists will be published in Duong Van 2024 Short Story Collection.

Previously, in September 2023, the Literature and Arts section named Duong Van was born. " We want Duong Van to be a warm home, able to gather contemporary literary writers of many ages," editor-in-chief Phan Mai Huong shared at the publication's launch.

Duong Van publication is published every 3 months, divided into various sections such as short stories, essays, literature and schools, literary criticism and theory, and literary documents.

Notably, in the September 2023 issue of Duong Van, the short story "Third Floor" by Phong Diep was included in the Literature 11 textbook, volume 2, Canh Dieu series.
