To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and Vietnam (1950 - 2025), the Romanian Embassy and Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City are organizing a drawing competition for Vietnamese children.

Vietnamese citizens nationwide aged 6-15 are encouraged to draw pictures on themes such as people and landscapes depicting the bilateral relationship between the two countries, and send them to the Romanian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City (56/4 Nguyen Thong Street, Ward 9, District 3) by January 15, 2025.
Regarding the format of the entries, the paintings should be drawn on A3 size white paper using any chosen colors such as: pencils, colored pencils, crayons, oil paints, watercolors, markers, or other materials.
The artwork must clearly state the full name, date of birth, school, class, school address, home address, and phone number (if available) on the back. Artwork lacking complete personal information will not be eligible for the competition.
At the same time, the submitted artwork must not have been previously displayed, exhibited, or published in any publications, books, magazines, or any other mass media.

Through their colorful paintings, participants not only showcased their artistic talents but also conveyed meaningful messages about friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two nations. The competition was an opportunity for everyone to explore the unique cultural beauty of Vietnam and Romania, thereby fostering closer ties between the people of the two countries.
The prize structure includes one first prize of 10 million VND, one second prize of 8 million VND, and one third prize of 5 million VND. The three winning works may be considered for exhibition at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum from February 22-27, 2025.
In her capacity as Honorary Consul of Romania in Ho Chi Minh City, Ly Nha Ky stated that she always strives to further support Romanian citizens living in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular, as well as to promote opportunities for bilateral cooperation and development between the two countries.
