Launching the race "One determination - For a drug-free community"

The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Ministry of Public Security, said that the program will take place over 2 days (June 28-29) at 30/10 Square, Tran Quoc Nghien Street, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City. The purpose is to promote propaganda, raise community awareness in preventing and combating crime and drug abuse; at the same time, enhance the position and role of the community, promote the strength of the people in fighting and suppressing crime and drug abuse.

One of the program's activities is the "One determination - For a drug-free community" movement run.

Following the success of the previous season, this year's event expanded to 5,000 athletes. The race is not only a mass sports activity, improving community health; but also combines the purpose of propaganda andeducation for the community towards a healthy lifestyle, saying no to drugs. Thereby, demonstrating the determination of the entire army and people in the fight against drug abuse in the whole society.

At the same time, it creates conditions for officers and soldiers of the specialized force on crime prevention and drug abuse; professional and amateur athletes and jogging enthusiasts to have a useful and meaningful playground; not only contributing to enhancing the sports spirit but also further tightening the solidarity between the army and the people on the "front" of fighting against crime and drug abuse.

The highlight of this year’s race is the application of modern chip timing technology, which helps record accurate results according to professional competition standards. This not only ensures fairness and transparency, but also enhances the experience for each participating athlete.

The running route starts from the gate on Tran Quoc Nghien Street, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, one of the most beautiful and poetic routes in Quang Ninh province.

The race is scheduled to take place from 4:30 a.m. on June 29, 2025 (Sunday) and will include two distances: 5km for men and women and 10km for men and women.

Participants: Participants aged 14 years and over who are able to complete the race, from start to finish, within the time limit for the respective distances.

The Organizing Committee will award prizes to the winning individuals according to each distance. For the 5km distance: 2 First prizes: 3,000,000 VND/prize; 4 Second prizes: 2,000,000 VND/prize; 6 Third prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize. For the 10km distance: 2 First prizes: 5,000,000 VND/prize; 4 Second prizes: 4,000,000 VND/prize; 6 Third prizes: 3,000,000 VND/prize.
