More than 7 tons of frozen food of unknown origin discovered

The above organs were seized at the cold storage of Duc Tan Saigon Company, address No. 1, Km12, Ngoc Hoi Street, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi .

During the inspection of the cold storage, the authorities discovered 7,010 kg of immature eggs, chicken intestines, and pig brains.

All of these goods do not have invoices or documents proving legal origin, violating food safety regulations.

The total value of the infringing goods is estimated at more than 664 million VND.

Market Management Team No. 17 has temporarily detained all of the above goods and coordinated with Team 7, Economic Police Department, Hanoi City Police to complete the dossier and handle it in accordance with the law./.
