From the information reflected by the people to the phone number of the Director of the Traffic Police Department, the authorities quickly verified and punished the driver of the blue-plate car who violated the law on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong highway.

On the morning of July 29, the phone number of Major General Do Thanh Binh, Director of the Traffic Police Department, received information from a person reporting that a blue-plate car 64A-06XX had violated traffic laws by driving into the emergency lane on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong highway.

Upon receiving the information, the Traffic Police Department directed Highway Traffic Police Team No. 7 (Department of Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance, Traffic Police Department) to urgently verify according to regulations.

Through verification, the police identified the driver of the blue-plate car 64A-06XX as Mr. Thai TP (born in 1970). The vehicle belonged to a public unit in the Mekong Delta provinces and was not a priority vehicle.

Working with the authorities, Mr. P. admitted his violations and pledged not to repeat them.

According to the Traffic Police Department, for the above violation, Mr. P. will be fined 5 million VND and have 2 driving license points deducted.

The Traffic Police Department warns that driving in the emergency lane of the highway poses a very high risk of traffic accidents and encroachment on the space of those in trouble or vehicles on emergency duty.
