Comrade Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented the decision on personnel work to comrades in the Standing Committee of Ward 1, Bao Loc.

Ward 1 Bao Loc was formed on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of 3 wards including Ward 1, Loc Phat Ward and Loc Thanh Commune (old Bao Loc City). The ward Party Committee has 74 affiliated party organizations with 1,362 party members.

With its central location, Ward 1 Bao Loc is inheriting infrastructure and works serving the people's activities such as: the headquarters of the People's Committee of Bao Loc City (old) which has just been invested in construction; the Center for Culture - Information and Sports ; the Center for Youth Activities; the new urban area on Ly Thuong Kiet Street... In the ward, there is Loc Phat Industrial Cluster - where many coffee, tea, silk and garment processing enterprises are concentrated.

Up to now, the economic structure of the ward has shifted in the right direction, with the proportion of trade - services playing a leading role accounting for 52%, industry - construction accounting for 35%, agriculture accounting for 13%. In the ward, there are many planning areas, calling for and attracting investment including: Nam Phuong 1 lake, Nam Phuong 2 lake, Bao Loc old market, old Lam Dong II Hospital... Thereby, creating a development space suitable for planning and development conditions.

Comrade Nguyen Viet Nam - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ward 1 Bao Loc said: "Currently, the ward has 385 enterprises, 14 cooperatives and 1,858 registered business households in operation. Enterprises, cooperatives and business households have gradually innovated technology, improved productivity, quality, improved product designs, proactively built and promoted their brands. Urban beautification and traffic infrastructure have gradually received investment attention. The locality has basically completed the general planning, land use planning; reviewed and adjusted the urban zoning planning...".

The locality has a favorable location, cool and temperate climate, beautiful landscapes, gentle and hospitable people, and cultural diversity. Urban infrastructure, trade, and services are relatively synchronously developed. In particular, the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway projects are being implemented... This is an important premise for the ward to attract investment in the service and resort tourism sectors; develop new urban areas. In addition, industrial and handicraft production facilities still have a lot of room for development. Agriculture has a lot of potential to form a green, smart agriculture with crops of high economic value such as orchids, mangosteen, coffee, tea, mulberry...
