Promoting the power of mass mobilization in implementing tasks of the Agriculture and Environment sector in 2025

In 2025, the mass mobilization work of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau province continued to achieve many important results, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management, promoting socio-economic development tasks and enhancing people's trust in state administrative agencies.

During the year, the Department closely followed the Prime Minister 's Directive and the Provincial People's Committee's Plan on mass mobilization work, promptly issued directive documents and implemented them in 26 affiliated units. Propaganda and dissemination of mass mobilization tasks were carried out regularly, in conjunction with professional tasks such as aquaculture, cultivation, forestry, natural resources - environment, surveying and mapping, land, etc. Thereby, raising the awareness of cadres, civil servants and workers about their roles and responsibilities in serving the people.

One of the highlights is that the Department has proactively coordinated to organize many training courses to propagate and disseminate laws, answer people's questions about aquatic exploitation, forest protection, environment, land, water resources, etc. Activities to contact voters and have direct dialogue with people have been effectively implemented, helping the agency promptly grasp thoughts and aspirations to advise and propose solutions to resolve existing problems.

The emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" has been closely directed by the Department, implemented with 19 practical models in many fields, including: protecting aquatic resources, regenerating the ecological environment, developing sustainable livelihoods, propagating against destructive fishing, community participation model in forest protection, mobilizing farmers to produce safe agriculture , online payment model at fishing ports, model of building a "smoke-free" agency, instructions for submitting documents online...

In addition, the Department continues to promote administrative reform, digital transformation, increase the rate of processing work documents on the network environment to 100%, provide 118 full-process online public services; maintain the implementation of ISO 9001:2015; perform well the responsibilities and ethics of public service; regularly inspect public service to ensure discipline and administrative order.

Socio-economic development tasks also achieved many outstanding results: aquatic product, rice and livestock production all increased compared to the same period; the new rural construction program achieved a high rate of standard communes; poverty reduction, population arrangement, environmental protection and land certification were implemented synchronously and effectively.

In 2025, the Department's mass mobilization work will continue to affirm its important role in building a government that serves the people and is close to the people; at the same time, it will contribute to creating momentum for the Agriculture and Environment sector to successfully implement sustainable development goals./.
