Developing human resources to ensure double-digit economic growth target

Human resources play an important role in improving the quality, efficiency and revenue of enterprises, an important factor in promoting industrialization and modernization, especially for a locality with an open and dynamic economy like Vinh Phuc .

Currently, the province has 29 vocational training institutions, including 5 vocational colleges, 3 vocational secondary schools, 12 vocational training centers, 7 vocational training centers, district-level continuing education centers, 2 facilities with vocational training activities and 3 universities. In 2024, the whole province will provide vocational training for nearly 28,000 people, with the main training groups including: Industrial electricity, Industrial electronics, mechanical engineering technology, computer management; refrigeration and air conditioning engineering. Through a survey at vocational training institutions in the province, over 80% of students have found jobs immediately after graduation.

The demand for trained labor as well as highly skilled human resources will increase due to Vinh Phuc's investment attraction orientation towards high-tech projects with high added value, using high-quality human resources, capable of participating in the production network and global value chain in electronics, automobile and motorbike manufacturing; semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence. In the first 6 months of 2025, enterprises in the province are expected to recruit nearly 22,000 workers.

To meet the labor recruitment needs of enterprises, vocational training institutions focus on innovating training programs according to the needs of the labor market; according to orders from enterprises as well as increasing joint venture activities, training cooperation, signing training commitments with enterprises; organizing internships and practice at enterprises for students.

Tomorrow morning (April 24), at the College of Agricultural Mechanics, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Human Resources Development Conference will take place. The conference is of great importance, not only for connecting the local labor market, but also contributing to the implementation of the goals of developing high-quality human resources in the context of the whole country strongly transforming towards digital transformation, in line with the socio -economic development orientation, the needs of the labor market and businesses, linking training with stable employment for workers, meeting the needs of enterprises to expand and develop production and business, contributing to the implementation of the target of double-digit economic growth in 2025 with the foundation of high-quality human resources.
