Not only a trade festival, the event also opens up a direction for the development of a series of four-season fairs, arousing the creativity and integration spirit of Vietnamese businesses.

Unprecedented national trade promotion event
From October 25 to November 4, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), the 2025 Autumn Fair – the largest national trade event ever – will officially open.
This is a key trade promotion activity chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance and the Hanoi People's Committee, under the direction of the Prime Minister.
With an area of over 130,000 m², 3,000 booths of nearly 2,500 businesses, the fair is expected to welcome 500,000 visitors per day, creating the most vibrant "trade picture" of the year.
Not only a commercial activity, the 2025 Autumn Fair also carries the message of "Connecting people with production and business", aiming to stimulate creativity, promote supply-demand linkages, stimulate domestic consumption and enhance international integration of Vietnamese goods, thereby contributing to the realization of the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025 and over 10% in the following years.
Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) said that the Autumn Fair will be held annually, gathering domestic and international manufacturing, trade, service and logistics enterprises.
“The Autumn Fair is not only a place to promote Vietnamese goods but also a platform to connect domestic enterprises with international importers and distributors, promote investment cooperation, technology transfer and expand export markets,” Mr. Phu emphasized.
The exhibition space is divided into 5 thematic areas such as "Prosperous Autumn", "Quintessence of Vietnamese Culture", "Quintessence of Autumn in Hanoi", "Autumn in Vietnam" and "Family Autumn", creating a journey of discovery of the diverse Vietnamese economy and culture in the autumn of Hanoi.
The capital was chosen as the main host not only for its modern exhibition infrastructure, but also for its cultural depth – connecting tradition and modernity, commerce and creativity.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said the city has carefully prepared infrastructure, security, traffic, environmental sanitation and support services for people and businesses.
“The exhibition area "Quintessence of Autumn in Hanoi" will feature the main yellow color of the capital's autumn, recalling the image of rice plants, yellow chrysanthemums, sun-drenched streets, Vong village green rice, the scent of milk flowers and Van Phuc silk - symbols of elegance, creativity and sophistication,” Mr. Duong shared.
The products on display are very diverse, focusing on Hanoi’s typical fields such as handicrafts, OCOP products, high technology, and traditional craft village products. Currently, the city has more than 1,350 craft villages, many of which will be introduced for the first time at this event.
The organization is strictly implemented: Controlling the quality of goods, food safety, fire prevention, security, traffic and environmental sanitation. The city also coordinates traffic flow, expands parking lots, increases public transport and considers ticket exemptions to encourage people to visit.
Mr. Duong added: “The fair is not only an opportunity for businesses to promote their products, but also an opportunity for people to experience new consumer culture, while opening up a sustainable development direction for craft villages and creative industries in the capital.”

Platform for the 4-season annual event
According to Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the Autumn Fair 2025, this is a "fair connecting trade - investment - tourism with culture and innovation", both honoring and introducing Vietnam's great achievements in 40 years of innovation and a forum to affirm the increasingly high position of Vietnamese products and services in the global production and supply chain.
“This is not just a fair, but a place where economics, culture and politics intersect; a bridge between tradition and modernity, between businesses and people, between Vietnam and the world,” the Minister emphasized.
With more than 2,500 domestic and international enterprises, the fair is an opportunity to display and introduce typical and key products in many fields, from industrial products, science and technology, innovation, cultural industry, e-commerce to agricultural products, processed foods, consumer goods, services and tourism...
The fair will become a prestigious meeting place, the first choice of investors and trade partners in the region and the world, and at the same time become a Vietnamese brand in the future and create an important foundation to become an annual event in the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
According to Mr. Vu Ba Phu, this will be a strategic step in innovating the national trade promotion model, when businesses not only introduce products, but also demonstrate technology, brands and green, sustainable business philosophy.
In the context of the volatile world economy, organizing large-scale fairs like this has a special meaning - not only to restore market confidence, but also to affirm the endogenous resilience of the Vietnamese economy. This will be a symbol of the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products", at the same time spreading the image of a dynamic, integrated, creative and prosperous Vietnam.
