An unprecedented national trade promotion event.

From October 25th to November 4th, the Autumn Fair 2025 – the largest national-level trade event ever – will officially open at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).

This is a key trade promotion activity chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance , and the Hanoi People's Committee, as directed by the Prime Minister.

With an area of over 130,000 m² and 3,000 booths from nearly 2,500 businesses, the fair is expected to welcome 500,000 visitors each day, creating the most vibrant "trading scene" of the year.

Beyond being a commercial event, the Autumn Fair 2025 also carries the message "Connecting people with production and business," aiming to unleash creative potential, promote supply-demand linkages, stimulate domestic consumption, and strengthen the international integration of Vietnamese goods, thereby contributing to achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025 and over 10% in subsequent years.

Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), said that the Autumn Fair will be held annually, bringing together domestic and international manufacturing, trading, service, and logistics businesses.

"The Autumn Fair is not only a place to promote Vietnamese goods but also a platform to connect domestic businesses with international importers and distributors, promoting investment cooperation, technology transfer, and expanding export markets," Mr. Phu emphasized.

The exhibition space is divided into five themed zones: "Prosperous Autumn," "Essence of Vietnamese Culture," "Essence of Hanoi Autumn," "Autumn in Vietnam," and "Family Autumn," creating a journey of discovery about the diverse economic and cultural aspects of Vietnam during Hanoi's autumn.

The capital city was chosen as the main host location not only because of its modern exhibition infrastructure, but also because of its cultural depth – a place that connects tradition and modernity, commerce and creativity.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said that the city has made thorough preparations in terms of infrastructure, security, transportation, environmental sanitation, and support services for people and businesses.

“The 'Essence of Hanoi Autumn' exhibition will feature the dominant yellow hues of the capital's autumn, evoking images of crape myrtle trees, yellow chrysanthemums, sun-drenched streets, Vong village sticky rice cakes, the fragrance of milk flower blossoms, and Van Phuc silk – symbols of elegance, creativity, and sophistication,” Mr. Duong shared.

The products on display are diverse, focusing on Hanoi's distinctive areas such as handicrafts, OCOP products, high technology, and traditional village products. Currently, the city has more than 1,350 craft villages, many of whose products will be introduced for the first time at this event.

Strict organizational measures were implemented: quality control of goods, food safety, fire prevention, security, traffic, and environmental sanitation. The city also coordinated traffic flow management, expanded parking areas, increased public transportation options, and considered ticket discounts or waivers to encourage people to visit.

Mr. Duong added: "The fair is not only an opportunity for businesses to promote their products, but also a chance for people to experience a new consumer culture, while opening up a sustainable development direction for traditional craft villages and creative industries in the capital."

The Autumn Fair features the participation of over 2,500 domestic and international businesses.

The platform for the annual four-season event.

According to Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair, this is a "fair connecting trade, investment, tourism with culture and innovation," both honoring and showcasing Vietnam's great achievements in 40 years of reform and serving as a forum to affirm the increasingly high position of Vietnamese products and services in the global production and supply chain.

"This is not just a trade fair, but a place where economics, culture, and politics intersect; a bridge between tradition and modernity, between businesses and people, between Vietnam and the world," the Minister emphasized.

With over 2,500 domestic and international businesses, the fair is an opportunity to showcase and introduce typical and key products in many fields, from industrial products, science and technology, innovation, cultural industry, e-commerce to agricultural products, processed foods, consumer goods, services and tourism...

The fair will become a prestigious meeting point, a top choice for investors and trade partners in the region and around the world, and will also become a brand of Vietnam in the future, creating an important foundation to become a four-season annual event in Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

According to Mr. Vu Ba Phu, this will be a strategic step in reforming the national trade promotion model, as businesses will not only introduce products but also showcase technology, brands, and green, sustainable business philosophies.

In the context of a volatile global economy, organizing large-scale trade fairs like this is particularly significant – not only restoring market confidence but also affirming the inherent resilience of the Vietnamese economy. This will symbolize the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritizing Vietnamese products," while simultaneously spreading the image of a dynamic, integrated, innovative, and prosperous Vietnam.
