The project is jointly implemented by an Indian film crew and Oxalis Company Limited - an adventure tourism operator in Phong Nha - Ke Bang, with support from Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau. The crew of more than 100 people will film in Son Doong Cave for about 3 weeks. In addition, the film will also be filmed in many other locations such as Cao Bang, Quang Ninh and some locations in Quang Tri province.

SILAA is an emotional project, carrying a humane message and aiming at a global audience. The choice to film in Vietnam not only comes from the unique landscape, but also the desire to contribute to promoting cultural and tourism cooperation between the two countries. The Indian tourism market is shifting strongly to Southeast Asia, in which Vietnam is an emerging destination and experiential tourism products such as cave exploration are of particular interest to Indians.

The fact that Son Doong was chosen as a film setting not only has national image significance, but also opens up great opportunities to promote tourism communications for the entire region. As a locality with many natural potentials that have not been properly exploited, Quang Tri has more conditions to build and connect tourism products associated with cinema, nature, and indigenous culture.

SILAA is expected to be released globally in 2026, opening up great expectations for media effects, increasing the number of international visitors to Quang Tri and the North Central region. Not only Son Doong, many other locations such as Thien Duong Cave, Chay River - Dark Cave, Mooc Stream, Cua Tung Beach, Cua Viet, Con Co Island... are also expected to benefit from the film's spreading effect.

This is an opportunity to reposition the image of regional tourism after mergers and consolidation, changing the traditional approach with experiential products that inspire international tourists.
