Attending the closing ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Lai Xuan Mon; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, Head of the Film Festival Steering Committee; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Ho Chi Minh City Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Co-Head of Steering Committee.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Film Festival Selection Council received a total of 203 films from production units nationwide, including 30 feature films, 120 documentaries, 21 scientific films and 32 animated films.
The panel, consisting of prestigious filmmakers and experts, selected the works for competition based on the Film Festival's regulations, ensuring fair and professional evaluation.
At the 24th Vietnam Film Festival Awards Ceremony, the film “Red Rain” by People’s Army Cinema was honored with the Golden Lotus for Best Feature Film, and also won 4 individual awards, including Best Supporting Actor (Phuong Nam as Ta), Best Designer, Best Cinematography and Best Cinematography.
The Silver Lotus was awarded to three works: "Sun Tunnel in the Dark", "Death Battle in the Air" and "Sister-in-law".

In other categories, the Golden Lotus went to the animated films "Trang Quynh nhi"; "The legend of Kim Nguu and De Men"; "Adventure to Xom Lay Loi"; the documentaries "Awakening and Solving" and "The Keeper of the Heritage Soul"; and the science film "Fine Dust - Danger in the Sky".
Regarding individual awards, Best Director was awarded to Ham Tran (Air Deathmatch), Best Debut Director to Thu Trang (Billionaire Kiss), and Best Main and Supporting Actors included Tuan Tran, Phuong Anh Dao, Hong Dao, Bao Dinh and Phuong Nam.

In addition, the Favorite Vietnamese Film voted by the audience belonged to "Quy Cau", while Inspirational Work was awarded to the animated film crew "The Legend of the Poinsettia".
In his closing speech, Director of the Department of Cinema Dang Tran Cuong congratulated the artists and film crews named, saying these achievements are not only the pride of each creative unit but also the common success of the Vietnamese cinema industry.


On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates of merit to individuals and groups with special contributions to the development and promotion of Vietnamese cinema, including CJ CGV Vietnam Company, Thien Ngan Film Joint Stock Company and Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, President of the Vietnam Cinema Promotion and Development Association.
