At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates announced the expected time and agenda of the regular session at the end of 2023 of the 10th Provincial People's Council; the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations after the 9th and 10th sessions of the 10th Provincial People's Council; and information on a number of policies and guidelines related to the people.

At the meeting, voters of Dong Hai commune had 08 opinions and recommendations on issues related to the need to repair and improve some rural traffic routes in the commune; the need to invest in building new inter-hamlet roads. Voters recommended the need to lower the power voltage for some households in Con Cu hamlet to serve daily life and production, and some overloaded power lines need to be upgraded to meet the needs of the people.

In addition, voters of Dong Hai commune also proposed a number of issues on environmental sanitation in aquaculture; policies for grassroots cadres; and social security policies.

Voters of Ngu Lac commune have 06 opinions and recommendations on increasing the allowance for grassroots cadres, reducing the age of receiving social allowance for the elderly and poor households, and paying attention to ensuring order and safety of rural traffic. Voters proposed upgrading and repairing the irrigation system; the progress of construction of some rural infrastructure projects is still slow; about tuition fees; support policies for students with difficulties such as insurance, tuition fees, etc.

The opinions of voters of Dong Hai and Ngu Lac communes were received, recorded and explained by the leaders of the People's Committees of the two localities, leaders of district branches, leaders of the District People's Committee and provincial branches.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, comrade Lam Minh Dang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and delegate of the Provincial People's Council, highly appreciated the activeness of voters of the two localities in contributing opinions and recommendations on issues related to the achievements in economic , cultural and social development of the localities and the difficulties and problems of the localities.

Comrade Lam Minh Dang informed voters about the economic, cultural and social development of the province in the first months of the year, accordingly, the growth rate of Tra Vinh province in the first 9 months of the year reached 8.5%, especially in electricity production, trade, services and budget collection, solving housing problems for poor households, implementing social security policies and building new rural areas... At the same time, he informed voters about the results of the Government and Prime Minister's working delegation in Tra Vinh province in October 2023.

Comrade Lam Minh Dang respectfully accepted, explained and will propose some opinions and recommendations at the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council. Regarding issues under the jurisdiction of the locality, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the sectors and localities urgently review and resolve them.
