(GLO)- From August 29 to September 1, the Pleiku Roh village gong team (Dien Hong ward, Gia Lai province) will be present in Quy Nhon ward to participate in the festival "The quintessence of the great forest - the convergence of the blue sea" in 2025. The coastal city of Gia Lai resounds with the rhythm of gongs and the long xoang circle.

The gong team of Pleiku Roh village (Dien Hong ward) performed at the street festival "Colors of the sea".
To participate in the big festival, 30 members of the gong team have carefully prepared from props (drums, gongs, t'rung, klong put, goong...) to traditional costumes and masks. The team members have diligently practiced and reviewed gong songs such as: Celebrating victory, Joy of the big festival ... with the determination to give visitors the most impressive performances.
Throughout the festival, the resounding gong sounds combined with the bustling xoang dance attracted a large audience. In programs such as the Coffee and Gong Culture Festival, the “Colors of the Sea” street festival or traditional art performances, the gong team of Pleiku Roh village was always the highlight. Locals and tourists not only enjoyed the performances but also enthusiastically participated in the experience of beating gongs and playing traditional musical instruments under the enthusiastic guidance of artisans.
