Gia Lai: Opening of exhibition of female painters from the North - Central

In her opening speech, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich expressed her deep gratitude to the female artists who contributed to creating a memorable cultural event in Gia Lai on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Gia Lai is a place where both forests and seas converge, opening up new opportunities for sustainable cultural and tourism development. The province always supports activities organized by the Gia Lai Literature and Arts Association, and hopes to have more special programs with the goal of taking culture as the foundation and driving force for the province's development.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed hope that artists from all over the country will choose Gia Lai as a creative destination to promote the beauty and hospitable people of this land.

The exhibition "Returning to the Red Land" is the 11th year that the playground for female artists across the country has been organized, and this is the first time this artistic journey has set foot in Gia Lai.

At the exhibition, art lovers will have the opportunity to interact with famous female painters, admire a series of works with many different styles, diverse in materials (oil, lacquer, silk, dó paper...) and themes (landscape, still life, portrait, daily life, festivals...). The exhibition will be open until November 10, 2025.
