Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai highly appreciated the significance of the delegation's visit, which took place at a time when the Vietnamese people were organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification - a great historical event that ended 30 years of the longest, most arduous, fierce but also most glorious war of the Vietnamese people.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly expressed his sincere thanks for the warm and respectful reception that the Algerian leaders, National Assembly and parliamentarians gave to Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai and the Vietnamese National Assembly Delegation during the visit in September 2022; said that through the visit, the Delegation learned many good experiences from Algeria, especially the process of implementing the program of building 2 million social houses for the poor.

Based on the results of the talks between the two Friendship Parliamentary Groups of the two countries' National Assemblies, Chairman of the Algeria - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group Salah Djegloul hopes that the two Friendship Parliamentary Groups will continue to exchange experiences in many other fields, promote the successful implementation of socio-economic development plans, and bring a prosperous and prosperous life to the people.
The Chairman of the Algeria-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group affirmed that Algeria is always ready to be a bridge for Vietnamese goods to access the North African and African markets with great demand for consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, industrial products, etc.; expressed his hope that Vietnam will be a bridge for Algeria to access the ASEAN market, which has the 6th largest economy in the world.

At the same time, the two sides will strengthen coordination in monitoring and urging the implementation of signed cooperation agreements; orient the construction and completion of a favorable legal corridor, support the Governments, localities, businesses and people of the two countries to increase exchanges and cooperation. Continue to strengthen coordination and mutual support at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) as well as at other multilateral parliamentary forums, thereby contributing to protecting common interests and enhancing the voice of each country in the international arena. Promote exchange activities between the Friendship Parliamentarians' Group, young parliamentarians, female parliamentarians of the two countries... contributing to creating a solid foundation for cooperation between the National Assembly and the people of the two countries.
Emphasizing that Vietnam supports and is ready to be a bridge to promote the process of the Algerian Parliament soon becoming an Observer of AIPA, the Vice President of the National Assembly suggested that the National Assembly and parliamentarians of both sides actively urge the Government to implement proposals to strengthen bilateral relations. These include stepping up trade promotion activities, diversifying exchange items, continuing to support the oil and gas joint venture between the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Sonatrach to successfully implement and gradually expand the scale of the Bir Seba Project - a typical symbol of economic cooperation between the two countries. Vietnam is ready to strengthen cooperation with Algeria in the fields of digital transformation, green capacity, agriculture, etc.
