Affirming the position of Petrovietnam value chain
In recent times, under the leadership of the Group's Party Committee, the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" has been implemented synchronously and effectively, associated with patriotic emulation movements and the Group's production and business activities.
The leadership, direction, communication, inspection and supervision of activities all closely follow the direction of the Central and the Government ; ensuring that the Campaign goes into depth, creating many typical models and creative ways of doing things, thereby spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" as a cultural feature throughout the Group.

In particular, the Group has promoted cooperation chains, signed contracts with many leading domestic enterprises, corporations and companies such as Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, Vietnam Airports Corporation, Vietnam Chemical Group, Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) ... in the fields of energy, services, industry, chemicals, digital transformation, and research and application of science and technology.
This is not only a strategic step to expand the market, but also contributes to improving competitiveness, linking value chains and creating momentum for multi-sector economic development, promoting the use of Vietnamese branded products and services.

In addition, Petrovietnam and its member/affiliated units have actively developed core products and services with Vietnamese brands, not only meeting domestic needs, but also serving national defense and export.
Many essential products such as gasoline, gas, electricity, fertilizers, etc. are produced and consumed mainly domestically, especially those that directly serve national defense and security tasks, reducing dependence on imported supplies. The localization rate in purchasing, investing, and operating is increasingly high; units proactively use domestically produced machinery, equipment, and raw materials, etc., contributing to cost reduction and promoting the development of the domestic supply chain.
Scientific research activities, technological innovation, and digital transformation applications are promoted, creating competitive products such as: Undersea survey robots, wind power bases, oil recovery chemical systems, and high-tech additives.
Units such as PTSC, PV Drilling, PVTrans, DQS... have closely coordinated to deploy services in an effective system, both increasing the value of domestic products and affirming the prestige of the Petrovietnam brand in the regional and international markets.
Strengthen domestic links
In the coming time, the Petrovietnam Party Committee determined to continue directing, propagating and effectively implementing the Party and Government's policies on the campaign, associated with emulation in production and creativity.
The goal is to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, business leaders and workers; encourage the use of domestic products and services; promote the exemplary role of cadres, Party members and union members in implementing the Campaign.

The Group will also strengthen internal links, promote the strength of the value chain and deploy solutions to manage market fluctuations, apply digital transformation, innovate business models associated with energy transition. At the same time, promote the dissemination of results, develop products and services, participate in domestic and foreign forums and fairs to promote Petrovietnam products and brands. Political and social organizations will join in launching the movement of saving and consuming Vietnamese goods to spread the culture of consuming Vietnamese goods throughout the Group.
Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, Head of the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" emphasized that, as a pillar economic group of the country, Petrovietnam needs to continue to demonstrate its leading role through cooperation, association, and sharing with state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, prioritizing the use of domestic products and services.
Speaking at the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" Petrovietnam, Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, Head of the Steering Committee of the Campaign said that in the context of trade war, sharp drop in oil prices, changes in tax policies, improving competitiveness and increasing domestic consumption are becoming more urgent.

Petrovietnam, as both a supplier and consumer of domestic products, needs to promote its leading, coordinating and spreading role in the use of domestic products. In particular, the Group has transformed itself into a National Industry - Energy Group with three strategic pillars: energy, industry and services. In particular, the service sector needs to be promoted, operations optimized, value added and competitiveness increased to both export and create attraction in the domestic market.

At the same time, focus on developing key projects, innovation, deploying smart factories, applying artificial intelligence to reduce costs and improve competitiveness. In particular, focus on communication and propaganda about new products, strategic products of the Group such as gas, electricity, fertilizer, gasoline, etc. to create the habit of consuming domestic products, establish domestic and foreign distribution networks.
