According to a quick report, storm No. 13 did not cause any human casualties, but caused 91 houses to collapse, more than 7,300 houses had their roofs blown off, many schools, medical stations and more than 250 electric poles to fall in Tuy Phuoc area. Nearly 5,000 people were flooded due to high tides. Total damage is estimated at nearly 300 billion VND.

At the checkpoints, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep acknowledged the proactive spirit of the local authorities and forces in responding and evacuating people to safe places. He requested the commune authorities to urgently mobilize forces and means to support people in repairing houses and restoring production; prioritizing the repair of damage at schools, medical stations and essential infrastructure works.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed the Electricity sector to quickly restore the damaged power system, ensuring safety for people; at the same time, set up barriers and warnings at landslide points and dangerous areas, especially the Song Tranh bridge section in Tuy Phuoc Bac commune.
Along with that, the army and police forces continue to stick to the assigned areas, coordinate with the locality to clean up, and help people stabilize their lives soon after the storm.
