The program is part of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany organized by the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
The German Career Guidance Bus started on April 26 in Hanoi and stopped in 20 provinces and cities across the country, lasting until November 2025. The program aims to provide authentic and reliable information on vocational training and job opportunities in Germany for students who have graduated from universities, colleges, intermediate schools and are about to graduate from high school.
In the German Career Guidance Bus Program held at the College of Mechanics and Irrigation, students were directly consulted about vocational training and employment opportunities in Germany, participated in interactive STEM games to learn about the legal labor migration program and life in Germany, visited booths and experienced the learning conditions of the professions being trained according to German standards at the school.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung highly appreciated the German dual vocational training model - a model that has become a symbol of the close connection between schools and businesses, between theory and practice, between knowledge and skills.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the German Career Guidance Bus event is not only an information and career guidance activity, but also a bridge to spread knowledge, connect opportunities and inspire young people in Dong Nai province about a solid vocational training path, with a clear future development, of international stature.

He also affirmed that the provincial leaders always identify the development of high-quality human resources as one of the strategic breakthroughs to enhance the local competitiveness in the process of international integration. At the same time, they are committed to accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions to promote vocational education cooperation, especially cooperation with prestigious partners such as the Federal Republic of Germany.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that there will be more specific cooperation programs in the coming time with German partners and localities such as: German language classes, pilot training projects, internship programs, vocational study abroad or work in Germany for students of Dong Nai province.
