Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich affirmed: The establishment of a second facility in Pleiku ward after the merger of Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces is a necessary and reasonable requirement.
This agency not only ensures continuous and effective presence in state management of each sector and field in a key area, but also strengthens coordination, supports policy implementation and promptly resolves arising issues, contributing to the stable and sustainable development of the (new) Gia Lai province.
At the meeting, representatives of 14 provincial departments and branches presented plans for personnel and facilities assignment as well as pointed out difficulties and problems.
In particular, it is proposed that the Provincial People's Committee issue guidelines to unify the financial mechanism and allowances for staff regularly working at facility 2; the use of the old administrative headquarters requires renovation of some items to meet working conditions; it is necessary to ensure consistency in the administrative procedure settlement process, avoiding the situation of information dispersion and inconsistent handling between facility 1 and facility 2...
The establishment of the second facility in Pleiku, as the administrative center of the region, will ensure the regular presence of state management agencies by sector and field in the region, enhancing the ability to quickly and promptly access and resolve issues related to state management.
Accordingly, facility 2 will continue to participate in state management activities in the area of Gia Lai province (old) to monitor, inspect, and guide the implementation of legal regulations of the Central and the province.
Based on the comments of relevant departments, branches and units, the Provincial People's Committee will finalize the plan to arrange a permanent working unit at the second facility to ensure suitability with reality and effective operation. The official plan will be reported to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for direction.
