Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh received and worked with a delegation of Chinese businesses.

BAC NINH - On August 4, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, comrade Pham Van Thinh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation received and worked with the business delegation of the Zhejiang Provincial Business Association (China) led by Mr. Chen Liang.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Pham Van Thinh expressed his pleasure to welcome the business delegation from Zhejiang province, and affirmed that Bac Ninh province always welcomes and creates the most favorable conditions for international investors to come and learn, cooperate and develop.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh provided general information about the industrial development situation as well as the potential advantages of the province.

He introduced an overview of the local industrial situation, emphasizing outstanding results in the 2021-2025 period, and development orientation according to the Provincial Planning to 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister .

Currently, Bac Ninh has 50 industrial parks with an area of over 15.2 thousand hectares, of which 41 industrial parks have been planned in detail. The province is focusing on developing industry in a green, ecological and digital direction. Accordingly, the locality prioritizes attracting high-tech projects with high investment efficiency and environmental friendliness such as semiconductor, electricity, electronics, new materials, pharmaceuticals, etc. to build a sustainable production ecosystem.

With a favorable location, synchronous infrastructure system and open investment environment, Bac Ninh is considered an ideal destination for international enterprises. Comrade Pham Van Thinh hopes that, in addition to promoting internal strength, foreign enterprises will cooperate with Vietnamese enterprises to form resonant linkage chains, increase product value and sustainable development for both sides.

Here, the Zhejiang business delegation thanked the province for its thoughtful reception and expressed their desire to cooperate in many fields.

A representative of a company specializing in solar power production stated that with favorable climate conditions, especially the number of sunny days and hours in the locality, investment in green electricity and renewable energy has great potential for breakthrough. Therefore, the company requested to learn more about the policies and incentive mechanisms from the Government and locality to promote this field.

A unit that is developing high-tech automated robot systems, serving multiple industries and supplying many partners in Southeast Asia, also expressed its desire to find customers and partners to invest in the province and expand its cooperation network.

In addition, some businesses with experience in agricultural product consumption also requested the province to support connecting with key units to purchase large quantities of lychee, ensuring order progress according to signed contracts. In particular, some businesses also proposed to lease about 130 hectares of land to form a concentrated production area according to the chain, expected to start in 2026. These proposals demonstrate the expectation of investment in the area, accompanying the sustainable development of the province.

Based on the opinions and recommendations, representatives of departments and branches such as the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Finance... also directly consulted and answered questions, contributing to helping the business delegation better understand investment opportunities in Bac Ninh in the coming time.
