The Deputy Prime Minister requested the authorities to urgently evacuate all residents to safety within the day. People's lives are the highest priority, requiring the locality to mobilize more rescue boats and ships; and to take responsibility for any loss of life.

With heavy rain forecast to continue, Military Region 5 is coordinating with local authorities to prepare a full plan to ensure safety and increase food and medicine support for the people. Regarding reservoir operations, it is necessary to comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and continue to closely monitor the development of floods.
