Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspects the progress of the Ring Road 3 project.

On November 25, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh led a Government delegation to inspect the Ring Road 3 project - Ho Chi Minh City, section passing through Dong Nai.

At the construction site, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh assessed that the units have made great efforts in the process of implementing the project. At the same time, he emphasized that Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City is an important project in the Southern region, directly connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai and Tay Ninh. When completed, the project will create new development space as well as exploit land use potential, build a sustainable and modern urban system; contribute to the successful implementation of the country's socio -economic development goals and tasks.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, on December 19, Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City will be technically opened to traffic. Due to the limited time left, the relevant parties need to focus on human resources, increase machinery to speed up construction day and night, ensuring the project is completed on time. The construction process must be closely monitored to ensure the project is of good quality and can be used for a long time.

Mr. Nguyen Linh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, said that the Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City section through Dong Nai is more than 11km long, with an investment capital of more than VND 2,580 billion, and is expected to be put into synchronous operation in 2026.

Up to now, the construction output of the project has reached more than 60% of the contract value, many items are ahead of schedule. Currently, contractors are focusing on the construction of roads and bridges. The road section has basically completed the embankment, and is being graded with crushed stone and asphalt concrete. The bridges on the route have basically completed the construction part, with asphalt concrete, railings, retaining walls and access roads at both ends of the bridge being built.

According to Mr. Nguyen Linh, from August to October 2025, on average, there will be about 15 rainy days per month at the construction site of the Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City. Despite the heavy rain, the contractors have made great efforts to ensure the project's progress. The units are focusing all resources, determined to achieve the goal of technical traffic opening of the project on December 19.
