Over the years, the Vietnam Blind Association, the Training Center for Rehabilitation Officers for the Blind and all its members have always received deep attention and warm affection from Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and the Ministry of Planning and Investment (formerly). Thanks to that, the Association has been supported through meaningful programs and activities such as: "White cane for the blind in Vietnam"; the Cafe More model, Light Massage Center has created jobs and raised social awareness about the visually impaired.

Notably, as of June 2025, all 7,400 white canes from the "White Canes for the Blind in Vietnam" program had been given to all levels of the association to be delivered to members in need. This brought the total number of canes given to members to nearly 40,000.

In addition, the Center has organized 15 training courses, and local Blind Associations have also organized 15 more training courses, with a total of 1,200 core members in the regions participating, helping blind people use canes effectively. This is a meaningful program, not only helping blind people move safely, proactively, and have good orientation, but also helping them to walk firmly on their life path, confidently participate in social activities and integrate into the community.

In international events organized by the Vietnam Blind Association, such as the series of events aiming at equality, progress and integration for the blind in ASEAN or the Asia- Pacific blind massage workshop, the Association also presented white canes to international blind delegates, contributing to spreading the meaning of the program and strengthening solidarity and friendship with international friends.

Programs to support the network of blind Vietnamese students, start-up training sessions, free medical examinations and treatment, and gift giving are continuing to be implemented by the Center, bringing practical benefits to the blind community.
Giving gifts and encouraging the Training Center for Rehabilitation Officers for the Blind, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung asked the Center in particular and the Vietnam Association of the Blind in general to continue to successfully implement the programs in the past; always move forward, be confident and have good luck in life.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung donated 100 million VND to the Training Center for Rehabilitation Officers for the Blind.
Also this afternoon, the Deputy Prime Minister visited and presented gifts to the creative handicraft production enterprise KYMVIET. Established in December 2013, KYMVIET is a successful and prominent social enterprise in the field of handicraft production made mainly from fabric. This is a place to receive, provide vocational training, organize small-scale production, creating a particularly suitable environment for people with disabilities to work.

The "story" of KYMVIET is told by the "hands" of disabled people who want to live a meaningful life. Each gift, beautiful in every stitch, carries within it delicate creativity, rich in Vietnamese cultural colors, is the result of craftsmanship, sweat, joy and happiness of disabled people.
Immediately after that, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung visited, talked and presented gifts to VUN Art Cooperative - a collective economic model in the field of cultural and creative industries. With the desire to preserve and introduce traditional culture, take advantage of surplus materials in the production process to protect the environment, the Cooperative has created sustainable jobs and changed the way society perceives the ability to work and create of people with disabilities.
