Previously, as reported by Vietnam Law Newspaper, in the early morning of November 27, Vietnam Law Newspaper organized a working group to bring a large amount of relief goods to the government and people of Phu Yen ward, Dak Lak province to provide emergency support to people seriously affected by floods.

All of these goods were donated by the staff, reporters, collaborators of the Southeast region of the Vietnam Law Newspaper Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City and partners under the direction of Dr. Vu Hoai Nam, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper. This action demonstrates the spirit of sharing and community responsibility of journalists at a time when people in flood-affected areas are facing many difficulties.

Authorized by Dr. Vu Hoai Nam (Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper and Editorial Board of Vietnam Law Newspaper), Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hieu (Deputy Chief Representative of Vietnam Law Newspaper Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City) led the working group to bring the goods to the people of Phu Yen ward, Dak Lak province.

The amount of goods that Vietnam Law Newspaper supports people this time is about more than 20 tons, including 35 types of essential goods, meeting the urgent living needs of households in disaster areas. Among them are 6,000 chicken eggs, 5 tons of delicious sticky rice (packed 5kg/bag), more than 3,200 boxes of milk, more than 860 boxes of other types of noodles.

In addition to food, the delegation also donated many daily necessities such as white sugar, laundry detergent, cakes, and more than 5,700 bottles of bottled water from many brands. These essential items helped people maintain their daily lives in the first days of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, when local resources were limited.

In addition to food, the program also provides many items for daily life and disease prevention after floods such as gloves, raincoats, warm blankets, rice paper, sanitary napkins, clean, sorted used clothes, diapers, dishwashing liquid, toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrushes and many essential medicines. These are all items that are often in short supply during and after prolonged floods.
