Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh ; Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee Hau A Lenh rejoiced with the people of Ia Nueng village (Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai) on the National Great Unity Day.

Ia Nueng village has 225 households with 1,091 people, of which 219 households are Gia Rai ethnic minority (accounting for 97.33%). In 2019, the village was recognized as meeting new rural standards. In 2023, Ia Nueng was recognized as a community tourism village. Currently, the village has been chosen as a model in building a "New rural village among ethnic minorities".

Over the past time, the cadres and people of Ia Nueng village have always promoted the spirit of solidarity and unity, together overcoming all difficulties to complete the local socio-economic development targets; the material and spiritual life of the villagers has been increasingly improved, the rate of poor and near-poor households has decreased every year. Up to now, the village has no poor households, only 4 near-poor households, the rate of near-poor households has decreased by 50% compared to 2023.

Currently, Ia Nueng village has 1 Party cell with 15 party members. The village has achieved the model new rural standard in 2019. Propaganda and mobilization work for ethnic minorities is focused on, thereby gradually raising awareness to change thinking and working methods, gradually eliminating backward customs and practices; strengthening the dissemination of knowledge and methods of applying science and technology to people to serve production, cultivation, and animal husbandry; many households in the village have known how to apply scientific and technological achievements in production, rising to become rich and well-off households. The roads in the village, cultural houses, sports areas, etc. are regularly cleaned, ensuring a green, clean and beautiful environment. The village always maintains political security, social order and safety, the people in the village always comply with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws; raise the spirit of vigilance, ready to denounce crimes.
