On this occasion, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Tran Thanh Lam presented the book "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, translated into French, to General Secretary of the Humanitarian Newspaper Anthony Daguet.

From November 8-11, a working delegation of the Central Propaganda Department led by Comrade Tran Thanh Lam - Deputy Head of the Department - went to France to study and learn about press, publishing and foreign information activities in this country.

FFoàn met and worked with Politburo member of the French Communist Party (PCF) Taylan Coskun and Mr. Anthony Draguet - Secretary General of the Humanity newspaper (l'Humanité).

Secretary General Anthony Draguet discussed the situation and communication work of PCF as well as the challenges that the Humanitarian newspaper is facing in the context of strong digital transformation.

The two sides exchanged experiences and sought cooperation opportunities between the Humanitarian Newspaper and Vietnamese press agencies in general, as well as with the press agencies of the Central Propaganda Department in particular. On this occasion, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Tran Thanh Lam presented the book "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, translated into French, to the Secretary General of the Humanitarian Newspaper Anthony Daguet.

During the meeting with the Board of Directors of the France-Vietnam Friendship Association (AAFV), the delegation learned about the activities of Perspective magazine. As the information agency of AAFV, Perspective introduces, promotes images and information about the situation in Vietnam, as well as propagates the activities of the association, contributing to strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between the governments and peoples of Vietnam and France.

On this occasion, the delegation also had a working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in France and met with Vietnamese news agencies and press agencies residing in France, including Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Voice of Vietnam Radio.

Welcoming the delegation's visit, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang informed about many events, exchanges and new developments in the relations between the two countries in recent times. The Ambassador emphasized that the success of foreign affairs activities and events contributing to strengthening the multifaceted relations between the two countries has been contributed by the information and communication work actively and effectively implemented by news agencies and newspapers.

Also within the framework of the visit, the delegation laid flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Monument and visited the Ho Chi Minh Space at the Living History Museum in Montreau Park in Montreuil city and attended the Vietnam Cultural Day in France event held at the Vietnam Cultural Center in France.
