The funeral was held at 6:00 a.m. on September 29, at Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District ( Quang Binh ) - the resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap.

Mrs. Dang Bich Ha, wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap, passed away early morning on September 17, at the age of 96.

Ms. Dang Bich Ha (born in 1928, in Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province), is the eldest daughter of Professor Dang Thai Mai (former Minister of Education , first Director of the Vietnam Institute of Literature).

In late 1946, the wedding of Commander-in-Chief Vo Nguyen Giap and Mrs. Dang Bich Ha was held simply.

Mrs. Dang Bich Ha and General Vo Nguyen Giap had four children together: Vo Hoa Binh, Vo Hanh Phuc, Vo Dien Bien and Vo Hong Nam.
