In the exhibition space of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly talked and introduced to Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva many works of art, reflecting the cultural identity and historical depth of the Vietnamese people.

Among them, the most prominent are 9 Vietnamese national treasures such as: Statue of Bodhisattva Guan Yin (16th century), statue of Queen Trinh Thi Ngoc Truc...; paintings: Two young women and a baby (famous painter To Ngoc Van, 1944), Em Thuy (famous painter Tran Van Can, 1943); traditional lacquer works and modern paintings bearing strong national imprints.

Delegates admired the statue of Queen Trinh Thi Ngoc Truc. The most outstanding feature of the statue is her bright, radiant, kind and realistic face. The statue is considered the pinnacle of Vietnamese portrait sculpture in the 17th century. The work was recognized as a national treasure in 2013.

Appreciating the contributions of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the relationship between the two countries, Madam Ngo Phuong Ly emphasized that Vietnam is currently promoting the implementation of social security policies and human resource development.

Vietnam wishes to promote cooperation with Azerbaijan through cooperation projects in culture, education, tourism, environment as well as charity activities towards women and children.

Ms. Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, sincerely thanked Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly for her warm welcome in a cultural space rich in Vietnamese identity. Expressing her deep impression of the beauty of Vietnamese art, she said that Azerbaijan is a country with a rich culture with rich painting, architecture, cuisine, and music, and hoped that the Vietnamese people would have the opportunity to explore the unique culture of Azerbaijan.

Delegates viewed the painting of Uncle Ho in the Viet Bac resistance base. With a free and emotional style, the famous painter Duong Bich Lien created a space of vast mountains, forests, sky and water. Uncle Ho and his mountain horse are preparing to cross the stream. The horse is saddled, the person in a brown shirt and a cloth bag, calmly preparing to cross the rushing flood with a leisurely appearance. The work was recognized as a national treasure in 2017.

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation affirmed that the Foundation always focuses on promoting heritage conservation projects, considering this an important bridge to foster friendship between the two countries, promote cooperation between social organizations and humanitarian funds of the two countries, contributing to strengthening friendship and expanding multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Azerbaijan.
