VinFast officially launches VF6 model in Indonesia

On May 6, VinFast announced the launch of the VF 6 mid-size electric vehicle in the Indonesian market with many attractive incentives for pioneering customers. With the rapid expansion of its V-GREEN store, service workshop and charging station system, VinFast is rapidly increasing its presence in Indonesia, providing customers with diverse choices and a seamless electric vehicle ownership experience, while contributing to promoting the green mobility revolution in the archipelago nation.

VinFast VF 6 is a B-class electric car model - one of the most popular car segments in Indonesia. VF 6 in Indonesia will have two versions Eco and Plus, with rolling prices in Jakarta of IDR 384,995,000 and IDR 439,600,000 respectively. The first VF 6 cars are expected to be delivered to customers from June 2025.

Similar to the launched VF 3, VF 5 and VF e34 models, VinFast VF 6 also applies attractive incentive policies, including a refund of up to IDR 20,000,000 for orders before June 30, 2025, free charging until March 1, 2028 at VinFast charging stations operated by global charging station developer V-GREEN, and accessory gifts worth IDR 13,345,000.

VinFast VF 6 is positioned to become the ideal choice for young families in Indonesia. VinFast's B-segment SUV is optimally designed for inner-city travel needs with overall dimensions of 4,241 mm long, 1,834 mm wide, and 1,580 mm high. The 2,730 mm wheelbase provides optimal interior space comparable to C-segment models.

The Eco version of the VF 6 is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 130 kW (174 hp) and a maximum torque of 250 Nm, allowing a distance of up to 480 km after each full charge (according to NEDC standards).

Meanwhile, the Plus version is more powerful with 150 kW (201 horsepower) and 310 Nm of torque, with a range of about 460 km per full charge (according to NEDC standards).

In terms of exterior, the car possesses a modern, elegant beauty, imbued with European breath with the philosophy of "Natural Opposites" designed by the famous Torino Design studio. The trendy appearance of VF 6 is clearly shown through the brand's signature bird-shaped LED strip, two liberal double chrome-plated strips running along the body of the car and 18-inch alloy wheels.

In terms of interior, VF 6 stands out with a 12.9-inch touch screen facing the driver, integrating entertainment and smart control features. The D-cut sports steering wheel integrates convenient function keys, and the electric front seats provide maximum comfort and flexibility for the user.

In terms of safety, the VF 6 is equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) with 22 features, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Lane Change Assist, Highway Driving Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, 360-degree camera with high resolution... High-voltage components meeting IP67 waterproof standards combined with a sturdy chassis and safety functions designed at high standards, provide reliable protection for all passengers in the car.

Similar to other VinFast electric car models, VF 6 will be applied with segment-leading after-sales policies, including: 7-year or 160,000 km warranty (whichever comes first) for the vehicle; 8-year warranty, unlimited km for the battery.

To provide customers with peace of mind through long-term commitment and trust in product quality, VinFast also offers one of the most attractive new car exchange and buyback policies in the Indonesian market, applicable to all car models, including VF 3, VF 5, VF e34 and VF 6. After VinFast's sales/technical team inspects, evaluates and confirms eligibility, VinFast will exchange a new car (for customers who want to upgrade) or buy back the car. VinFast's buyback and exchange rate is up to 90% after 6 months, 86% after 1 year, 78% after 2 years, and 70% after 3 years.

Customers can learn about VF 6 and other VinFast electric car products at 21 dealer showrooms in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali... Recently, VinFast also signed a deal with strategic partner Amarta, planning to put 11 showrooms into operation in 2025 and reach 22 stores by 2027. In addition, VinFast car owners can also access the network of genuine VinFast service workshops of partners Otoklix and BOS nationwide, ensuring convenience throughout the usage process. VinFast plans to establish a network of 500 service workshops across Indonesia this year.

After only one year of presence in Indonesia, VinFast has made rapid progress: Cooperating with dealers and service workshops, major banking partners and launching 4 car models VF 3, VF 5, VF 6 and VF e34, introducing attractive sales and after-sales policies and constantly expanding the sales and service network. VinFast electric vehicle assembly plant in Subang is also expected to come into operation in 2025.
