On May 14, Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang chaired a conference to listen to reports from departments and branches on plans to arrange accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the province's merger.

At the conference, the Department of Construction reported on the plan to build public housing and arrange accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the merger of the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh .

Accordingly, the total number of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh provinces is expected to register for residence at 4,405 people. Of which, 270 are cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and 4,135 are civil servants and public employees.

After reviewing, the Department of Construction has organized a meeting with 3 units that are managing and operating housing invested by state budget capital, including the dormitory area of Hung Vuong University, the guest house area of Phu Tho Provincial Conference Center and the student apartment complex of Minh Phuong urban area to arrange accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the province's merger.

After listening to the discussion of departments and branches, Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang emphasized that the arrangement of official housing and accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the province's merger is an urgent task that needs to be implemented synchronously and in accordance with actual conditions.

Regarding official housing for officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Mr. Quang requested that, in the immediate future, research and calculation be done to arrange official housing options at the premises of the Provincial Party Committee headquarters, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Conference Center, ensuring compliance with current regulations on cases eligible for official housing benefits.

Mr. Quang assigned the Department of Construction to urgently review the existing housing fund, propose renovation plans, and arrange accommodation for civil servants and public employees.

At the same time, based on actual needs, research and build new public housing areas on the premises of the Provincial Convention Center to meet immediate needs and flexibly convert usage functions to suit actual requirements in the coming time, report to the Provincial People's Committee.

Urgently speed up the implementation of social housing projects in the area, giving priority to those eligible for social housing support according to the law, especially those facing difficulties in housing.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province also assigned the Department of Finance to study and propose policies to support travel and ensure stable working and living conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.

Maintain staff in Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh provinces after merger

At the conference, the Department of Finance reported on the plan to arrange and allocate offices, facilities, and equipment of agencies and units when implementing the arrangement and consolidation of administrative units.

Regarding the arrangement of provincial administrative units, it is expected to use all the working headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, mass organizations, departments, branches and specialized agencies of Phu Tho province at present to arrange the working headquarters of the agencies and units of the new Phu Tho province (after the arrangement).

For the headquarters of specialized agencies of the two provinces of Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh, maintain the arrangement of leaders and a number of officials, civil servants and workers, ensuring the normal operation of tasks and support services for people and businesses.

Research, review, and arrange a working headquarters for many agencies, organizations, and units to use according to prescribed management methods.
