Dong Son Ward: Launching a campaign to support people in flood-affected areas in the Central Highlands

QTO - Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to launch the campaign "Quang Tri's affection for the people of the Central and Central Highlands", on the afternoon of November 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Son ward held a launching ceremony to support the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by floods.

As a locality located in a disaster-affected area, the people of Quang Tri province in general and Dong Son ward in particular always understand the loss and difficulties that people in other provinces are going through.

With the tradition of solidarity, humanity and the act of "Love others as you love yourself" in times of difficulty and adversity, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Son ward called on cadres, party members, soldiers of the armed forces, agencies, businesses, schools, organizations, individuals and all classes of people in Dong Son ward to promote the tradition of mutual love and support, to share and support people in flood-affected areas.

Responding to the call, at the ceremony, over 300 officials, representatives of local leaders, organizations, people and businesses contributed VND 254,191,000 in support.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Son Ward commits to using all contributions publicly, transparently, to the right address, to the right recipients, and transferring them to the affected people in the fastest and most effective way to promptly encourage the spirit and support the people in the flood-affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.
