Tay Nha Trang Ward: Paying tribute to frontline forces in flood and storm prevention

On November 28, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Nha Trang Ward organized a ceremony to honor and present gifts to the forces participating in the frontline of flood and storm prevention. Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran Viet Trung - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council; representatives of a number of agencies and units in Ho Chi Minh City and individuals participating in the frontline during the recent flood.

Leaders of the Ward Party Committee and representatives of agencies and units in Ho Chi Minh City presented gifts to thank the frontline forces in flood and storm prevention.

During the recent flood, Tay Nha Trang ward was severely affected. In addition to the close attention and direction, and great support from the province and the police and military forces, there were about 500 people, including Party cell secretaries, heads of residential groups, heads of the Front work committee, commanders and deputy commanders of the ward military command, militia on duty and militia on call, ward police, officers, civil servants and public employees of the ward, not afraid of danger, wading in water for many hours to rescue and evacuate people in deeply flooded areas to safety; at the same time, continuing to participate in delivering each meal, gift, and relief goods to the hands of people in difficulty after the flood.

At the gratitude ceremony, the Ward Party Committee gave gifts to 150 people and the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee gave gifts to 140 people.
