PouchNATION's Zebra app reduces check-in time by 83%.

Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in online workflow automation and digitalization, has announced PouchNATION.

The PouchNATION app helps shorten the time.

PouchNATION is a pioneer in providing cashless POS solutions, customer management, and access control for large-scale events. The company has faced numerous challenges related to the latency and errors of traditional camera-based QR code scanning systems, especially in low light conditions or when tickets are damaged.

These limitations not only affect the customer experience but also reduce operational efficiency, especially when handling a large number of attendees.

To address these challenges, PouchNATION integrated Zebra's TC72 inventory scanner, which is fully compatible with the company's proprietary NFC solution. This combination optimizes the ticketing process, delivering faster processing speeds, greater reliability, and offline functionality at events. The deployment of the TC72 significantly improved scanning performance and accuracy, ensuring a stable and faster ticketing process, unaffected by lighting conditions or QR code print quality.

Koen van Geena, General Manager of PouchNATION, said: "According to our operations team, scanning times have dropped dramatically from 6 seconds with the old device to just 1–1.5 seconds when using Zebra's 2D mobile barcode scanner, equivalent to an improvement of up to 83%."
