In the early morning of June 1, PSG completely dominated and poured 5 goals into Inter Milan's net in the final of the 2024-2025 Champions League. Achraf Hakimi (minute 12), Désiré Doué (minute 20, minute 63), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (minute 73) and Senny Mayulu (minute 86) were the ones who scored to bring victory to PSG.
With an overwhelming victory over Inter Milan, PSG became the Champions League champions with the biggest final victory in history.
This is also the final with the most unequal score since the tournament was first held in 1955 (formerly European Cup/Cup C1).
In the past, the biggest score in a Champions League final was 7-3 and 4-0. 7-3 was the score in the final Real Madrid beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1959-1960 season.
4-0 scores have appeared in the finals: Bayern Munich beat Atlético Madrid (1973-74), AC Milan beat Steaua București (1988-89), Milan crushed Barca (1993-94). In the last five Champions League finals, the total number of goals scored has never exceeded 2.
As for Desire Doue (PSG), he became the youngest player in history to score a double and assist in a Champions League final. Doue participated in the final when he was only 19 years and 392 days old.
This is PSG's first Champions League title. They became the second French team to win the Champions League after Marseille (1992-1993).
