Former futsal player dies at age 25 while playing futsal

(Dan Tri) - Former futsal player Tran Dang Thien passed away on a football field in Ho Chi Minh City on June 3, after suffering a stroke while playing.

Tran Dang Thien is 25 years old this year. He once played for Tan Hiep Hung futsal team and competed in the national futsal championship. At that time, Tran Dang Thien was a student of coach Pham Minh Giang, former coach of the Vietnam futsal team.

Currently, Dang Thien works as a coach for the Phu Duc Tri amateur football team. During a amateur football match on the evening of June 3, while playing, Tran Dang Thien suddenly collapsed.

Despite the active first aid from on-site medical staff and support from his teammates, Dang Thien still did not survive and passed away at the age of 25.
