QJMotor SRK 500 RA - a motorcycle that can learn its owner's habits

QJMotor recently introduced the SRK 500 RA sports motorcycle - a full fairing sport model with a new automatic transmission with a special mechanism.

We may be familiar with Honda's DCT system and Yamaha's Y-AMT, but recently QJMotor - a motorcycle manufacturer from China - has also introduced its own automatic transmission system.

This automatic transmission system of the Chinese car company was first introduced on the new QJMotor SRK 500 RA 2025 sports motorcycle model - a sportbike with fully automatic gear shifting capability.

Basically, the QJMotor SRK 500 RA is developed based on the SRK 500 RS platform that was launched in 2023, with the same body, frame, equipment and engine. The biggest difference lies in the transmission system - the SRK 500 RA is equipped with an automatic transmission, but the specific details of how this system works have not been clearly announced.

On its official social media page, QJMotor claims that the car is “smarter: learning your driving behavior to deliver a truly personalized experience.”

Although the statement is quite vague, it can be assumed that the car still retains the gear lever like traditional models, but is integrated with a special driving mode, combined with a separate operating system to learn the driver's gear shifting habits, engine speed... from there, predicting and changing gears automatically.

Although detailed information is still limited, it is certain that the vehicle will have the same configuration as the SRK 500 RS with a 449cc inline two-cylinder engine, producing 53 horsepower and maximum torque of 42 Nm.

The front suspension system is inverted travel, the rear is a single shock absorber with a single-sided swingarm. The front brake uses a 2-piston Nissin caliper with a 300mm brake disc.

The QJMotor SRK 500 RA 2025 sports motorcycle has been launched in the Chinese market, but the manufacturer has not yet announced the official sale date or price.

According to current information, the SRK 500 RA will be distributed in the Chinese market in the third quarter of 2025 and will most likely only be sold in the domestic market, similar to the company's previous models.
