Hai Ba Trung District: 177,304 comments on amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution

On the morning of May 21, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Ba Trung District announced that, implementing Plan No. 67/KH-MTTQ-BTT dated May 8, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City on "Organizing the collection of opinions from the Vietnam Fatherland Front system on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam", the district has organized the collection of public opinions in many forms.

Notably, the district has promoted oral propaganda through regular meetings of organizations and propaganda on the grassroots radio system about the form of participation in contributing opinions to the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

To date, there have been a total of 177,304 comments, including 52,499 comments from agencies, organizations, local Fatherland Fronts and 8,068 individual comments.

All opinions unanimously agreed that the contents stated in the draft ensure the construction of a lean, strong, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus. When agencies, units and organizations come under the same "Front roof", it will increase the strength of the great national unity bloc.

The opinions also recommended that the Central Government direct resolutely, on schedule, and urgently resolve the number of redundant civil servants and public employees after the merger, as well as have solutions to handle land and public assets (especially Party headquarters, district, ward, and commune-level authorities that are redundant after the arrangement), to avoid loss and waste.
