
The exhibition announces and introduces 112 documents, archives, and images selected from archives under the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam, the State Archives General Department of China, news agencies of the two countries, and relevant agencies...
These documents reflect the milestones, cooperation journey and important achievements in the relationship between the two countries, since the official establishment of diplomatic relations on January 18, 1950.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Mr. Dang Thanh Tung, Director of the Vietnam Records and Archives Department, emphasized that the archival documents are authentic evidence of history; helping the public better understand the depth of cooperation between the two countries, from high-level delegation exchanges, supporting each other in the revolution, to expanding economic , cultural cooperation and people-to-people exchanges today.

Mr. Lam Chan Nghia, Deputy Director General of the General Department of State Archives of China, also affirmed that the archival documents are historical evidence of the Vietnam-China friendship, reflecting historical periods of exchange and mutual support in many fields since the two countries established diplomatic relations.
The exhibition contributes practically to implementing major orientations of senior leaders of the two Parties and two States on people-to-people exchange, friendly cooperation and preserving common historical values.
The exhibition consists of three parts: Laying the foundation of friendship; Cooperation and development; Towards the future.
Mr. Cao Huy, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs of Vietnam, believes that the exhibition will be an opportunity for the public, scientists and archivists to enhance understanding and contribute to fostering friendship between the people of the two countries.
The exhibition is open to visitors at National Archives Center 1, 5 Vu Pham Ham, Hanoi.
