According to Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian President for Political Affairs Mohammad Jamshidi, President Raisi welcomed the invitation.
The Saudi Arabian government 's media office has not yet commented on the above information.
Meanwhile, on the same day, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said he had agreed to meet his Saudi counterpart and proposed three locations for the meeting.
Earlier information said the two foreign ministers are expected to discuss next steps after the two sides sign a peace agreement, such as arranging the exchange of ambassadors and discussing measures to strengthen bilateral relations.
