Thai Binh is a locality with an overwhelming number of small and medium-sized enterprises. From household production facilities, craft villages to start-ups in fields such as agricultural products, distribution, electric vehicles, services, trade, etc., all have the desire to grow and integrate. Development practices in recent times show that many Thai Binh enterprises have reached out to international markets, participated in supply chains, applied new technologies and digital transformation. However, most of them are still facing difficulties in management capacity, access to capital, land, technology and markets. These are barriers that need to be removed if we want to take advantage of the opportunities brought by Resolution 68.
Digital transformation and innovation are no longer trends reserved for large corporations. Today, small and micro-sized enterprises can fully utilize technological tools to improve management efficiency, optimize costs and expand markets. In Thai Binh, many F&B, high-tech agricultural , motorbike and car distribution enterprises have initially successfully deployed CRM, ERP, multi-channel sales and livestream systems on digital platforms. These models need to be replicated and need support from the government and associations to create a modern, creative and flexible business ecosystem.
The Thai Binh business community also needs to overcome the mindset of individual competition and move towards building cluster linkage models. The formation of production - processing - consumption value chains according to industry clusters (such as textile clusters, clean agricultural product clusters, F&B clusters, etc.) will help businesses take advantage of each other's strengths, increase competitiveness and attract investment. Dinh Tien Hoang walking street, industrial parks in Thai Thuy, Tien Hai, etc., or the startup center being formed in Thai Binh city can all become the nucleus for these models.
Another bright spot in the development orientation is the spirit of entrepreneurship associated with social responsibility. Scholarship programs, support for poor students, sponsorship of learning equipment, and accompanying the construction of creative spaces for the community... not only bring social value but also create prestige, image and trust for the business itself. In the ESG era (environment - society - governance), the more closely a business is connected to the community, the more sustainable its development will be.
In the coming time, Thai Binh Provincial Business Association will focus on its leading and creative role, not just its connecting function. We are implementing initiatives to support digital transformation for member businesses, building training programs on management skills, communication, law, and investment promotion. At the same time, the Association also plays a bridging role with research units, technology experts, banks, and management agencies to bring new development models into local practice.
In addition to the internal efforts of enterprises, authorities at all levels play a key role in implementing Resolution 68. We recommend promoting administrative procedure reform, especially in the fields of land, finance, and investment; at the same time, building funds to support innovation and startups; and strengthening the public ordering mechanism so that enterprises in the province are given priority to participate in infrastructure development projects and public services.
The spirit of Resolution 68 is not only to develop the private economy but also to transform the entire business ecosystem towards modernity - transparency - sustainability. General Secretary To Lam has said very clearly: "People and businesses must be the center and creative subjects of the development process". This is not only a directive but also an empowerment, a humane call for business people.
In the context of globalization, digital transformation and increasingly fierce competition, if we do not seize the opportunity to reform now, we will fall behind. However, if we are united, innovate and take strong action, I believe that Thai Binh's small and medium enterprises will not only survive but also rise to the top in sustainable development and international integration. When the aspiration for development becomes a common goal, when the government, businesses and the community join hands to create, Thai Binh will be able to become one of the models for effectively implementing Resolution 68 - for a prosperous and powerful Vietnam in 2045.
