Pay attention to developing party members who are ethnic minorities in the working class.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Tam, Party Secretary and General Director of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company, said: Established in December 2015, the company's Party Committee initially had only more than 30 members, all of whom were key officials at the Company Office and teams. This was both an advantage and a difficulty for key leaders, because they had to simultaneously perform professional tasks and concurrently hold other jobs while political tasks and production and business targets were increasingly high, with a large, difficult and complicated workload.

Realizing the reality and barriers, the company's Party Committee has proposed many solutions to discover and nurture elite nuclei among the workers and laborers who are ethnic minorities directly working in the gardens and farms. Every year, the Party Committee issues resolutions, assigns targets for developing new Party members to each farm Party cell and considers it one of the criteria for evaluating the task completion results of each Party member who is a key leader and secretary of the affiliated Party cells.

After 10 years of establishment, the number of party members of the Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company Party Committee has increased to 82 comrades (of which 39 are ethnic minority workers). In the 2020-2025 term alone, the Party Committee has admitted 32 more party members (reaching 160% of the Party Committee's resolution). These are all typical nuclei in labor and production; exemplary role models in spreading the emulation movement "learning and following Uncle Ho" through their deeds and actions, contributing significantly to the overall results of the company's Party Committee.

"Although the company's 3,721.54 hectares of orchards are spread over steep hills and mountains in 16 communes, 89 villages and hamlets of 5 districts and cities in the province, with the current team of responsible and enthusiastic party members, they have always taken good care of and protected the orchards; strictly followed the exploitation and business processes to ensure the company's revenue, profits and income for workers," General Director Nguyen Cong Tam added.
