An Duong District Party Committee summarizes 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of May 26, An Duong District Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW, dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; commending outstanding collectives and individuals in the period of 2016 - 2025. Attending the conference were representatives of the Party Building Committees of the City Party Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district; representatives of agencies, units, socio-political organizations, branches, grassroots Party committees, and typical advanced collectives and individuals who were commended.

After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in An Duong district has had positive changes, gone into depth and achieved many outstanding results. Leadership and direction have been carried out seriously and regularly; learning content has been concretized in accordance with practical situations, creating consensus in the entire political system and the people.

Many good models and effective methods have been deployed and replicated such as: Model of "Mobilizing people to donate land to build new rural model roads"; "Veterans educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions"; "3 good" model of Women's Union (Saving - Mutual support - Raising good children); "An Duong youth join hands to build new rural areas"... The models not only contribute to socio -economic development but also widely spread the ideological, moral and lifestyle values of Ho Chi Minh in community life. Many outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho have been discovered, commended and rewarded. Typical examples include: Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuoi - President of the District Women's Union with the "Green Trash Can" model; Comrade Bui Thi Nga - teacher of An Duong High School with many innovations in teaching; Comrade Pham An Hien - Party Secretary, Director of the District Medical Center with high-quality medical examination and treatment techniques...

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Tran Thi Quynh Trang, Secretary of the District Party Committee, affirmed: Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is an important, regular and long-term task, an urgent requirement of the cause of Party building and rectification in the new situation. Over the past 10 years, the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW in An Duong district has been carried out seriously and extensively, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (term XII, XIII), Regulation No. 144-QD/TW dated April 14, 2024 of the Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period. Through patriotic emulation movements, studying and following Uncle Ho has gradually gone into depth, contributing to improving the quality of Party building work, the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of cadres, party members and people.

At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee seriously assessed the remaining limitations and proposed directions and tasks for the coming time. In particular, it emphasized the requirement for Party committees, authorities, and organizations at all levels to continue promoting the exemplary spirit of cadres and party members, especially leaders; linking learning and following Uncle Ho with the implementation of political tasks, socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, and the work of reorganizing the apparatus according to the two-level government model from July 1, 2025.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of An Duong District Party Committee commended and rewarded 10 collectives and 17 individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the period of 2016 - 2025, contributing to widely spreading the good values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology in social life.
