Quang Minh directs union activities to the grassroots

Attending and directing the congress was comrade Le Dinh Hung, Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation (HLF).

Quang Minh Commune Trade Union was established with more than 2,900 union members. Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Congress determined the task of Quang Minh Commune Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, enhance the representative role, care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; at the same time, promote the spirit of discipline - creativity - responsibility of cadres and union members, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio -economic development goals of the locality.

The Congress set out key targets such as: 90% of workers are educated and thoroughly grasped the Party's policies and the State's laws; 85% of enterprises have collective labor agreements; 100% of union members in difficult circumstances are cared for and supported promptly; 100% of union officials are trained and fostered professionally; 100% of documents and meetings are digitized in management work; each grassroots union introduces at least 1 outstanding union member to the Party for consideration, training and admission. The commune union strives to achieve the title of "Completing tasks well" or higher every year.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Le Dinh Hung, Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, praised the proactive, scientific and thoughtful spirit in preparing for the Congress.

To successfully implement the set goals and breakthroughs, the leaders of the City and Quang Minh Commune Labor Federation require the Trade Union to continue promoting its role as a trusted representative of workers; directing all activities to the grassroots, turning slogans into practical actions.

Each union official needs to proactively apply information technology and digital transformation in union activities, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members. Commune unions need to proactively advise the Party Committee and government to resolve arising issues, contributing to maintaining political stability from the grassroots.

At the same time, the Commune Trade Union needs to continue to innovate the emulation movements of "Good workers" and "Creative workers", linked to the tasks of socio-economic development and production and business targets of enterprises. The Commune Trade Union also needs to strengthen training and skills training for union officials, build a team of officials with courage, intelligence, knowledge of the law, enthusiasm and responsibility towards workers.

At the Congress, the Hanoi City Labor Federation announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions of Quang Minh Commune Trade Union officials for the 2025-2030 term.
