Quang Nam has more than 18,000 students taking the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

(QNO) - This afternoon, May 29, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee for the Quang Nam Provincial High School Graduation Exam for the 2025 school year.

According to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam in Quang Nam province is headed by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan; the Deputy Heads and members are leaders of departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. The Steering Committee is responsible for directing all activities to prepare and organize the implementation of the High School Graduation Exam for the 2025 school year in the province.

According to Mr. Thai Viet Tuong - Director of the Department of Education and Training, this year's exam is the first year to organize the exam according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program. The exam takes place on June 26 and 27, with candidates taking two subjects: Literature, Mathematics and an optional exam consisting of two subjects (2 subjects less than before). As for candidates studying under the 2006 General Education Program (more than 550 candidates), they will take the subjects of Literature, Mathematics, foreign languages, natural science exams (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or social science exams (History, Geography, Civic Education).

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Quang Nam is expected to have a total of nearly 18,600 candidates. The province will arrange 62 exam sites, including 52 exam sites at high schools and 10 exam sites at secondary schools. There are 2 exam sites for candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program in Hoi An and Tam Ky.

After listening to the opinions of the members at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan decided to assign tasks to the members of the Steering Committee and requested that all of them be responsible for performing well the assigned tasks according to their industry, field, and locality, ensuring compliance with the admission regulations. Note the issue of printing and transporting exam papers; ensuring security and order, safety and security of exam papers, organizing exam supervision and grading.

"The task and mission of organizing the final high school graduation exam of Quang Nam province, in the general spirit, must try our best, not be subjective, so that the exam takes place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. We request that localities strengthen coordination with the Department of Education and Training to organize the exam well. This work is not only the responsibility of the education and training sector but requires all sectors and localities to participate" - Mr. Tuan emphasized.
